Next-Day Delivery of Urgent Aquavault Gate Valves to THFC

Some project timescales are tight due to the nature of the work being completed, with equipment needed on short notice to avoid expensive setbacks or logistical complications. Thankfully, T-T have the in-house manufacturing, testing and stock needed to accommodate rapid turnarounds.

The Problem

T-T Flow received an urgent order of gate valves with less than 24 hours within which to deliver them to Tottenham Hotspurs FC training grounds for an upgrade to their pitch irrigation system.

The Solution

Our valve division was able to fulfil the order to the client's deadline, delivering six Aquavault® resilient seat gate valves less than a day after they were ordered.

The supplied DN150 gate valves and manual cap operator offer unrivalled reliability in flow isolation applications, featuring:

• EPDM encapsulated wedge – to improve sealing consistency
• Ductile iron construction – for a low weight/high strength valve
• Fusion bonded epoxy coating – offering increased corrosion resistance
• Rolled thread stainless steel stem – reducing operating friction and increasing valve lifespan
• Full bore – allowing maximum flow when the valve is open

T-T’s WRAS approved Aquavault® gate valves are designed to conform to both BS5163 and EN1074, meaning they meet internationally recognised quality assurance, performance and safety regulations in terms of their construction and testing.

The team utilised T-T HQ’s state-of-the-art hydrostatic testing facilities to test and certify each valve, assigning each one a unique serial number for traceability and to show they meet our high standards before being despatched.
