High Head Contractors Pump saves Quarry Production

The heavy autumn rain stopped a North of England quarry from meeting customer demand, their existing pumps could not maintain water levels at a safe level to allow work to continue.

 The delay in production meant that the quarry owners would face some difficult decisions.

 An urgent Friday afternoon call from the Quarry Manager, who was looking for an urgent remedy to his then flooding problems.

 TT Pumps sales engineers promptly reviewed the site conditions and recommended a KTH 200-37 high head 37kW contractors pump, being a stock item was the perfect pump and readily available.

 The pump immediately ordered, being supplied and installed that weekend, allowing the quarry to be back in action for the early Monday shift.
