Delivering T-T Excellence from the UK to the South Atlantic

Earlier this year T-T Pumps received an order to be delivered below the equator to Ascension Island. This volcanic island is located in the South Atlantic Ocean as a British overseas territory.

A leading UK facilities management and professional services company placed a large order of a mix of pumps, mixers, control panels and other accessories for a large upcoming project.

Included in the order were two Cri-Man TBX Mixers constructed entirely from stainless steel – this material configuration ensures the mixers have high corrosion and abrasion resistance for long-term use in even the most extreme applications. These robust mixers came complete with a coupling kit and winch for ease of installation and maintenance.

Other items included four progressive cavity pumps and two ATEX Rated (Zone 1 – for use in hazardous gas environments) V-Flow Range sewage pumps, with a vortex impeller that effectively handles suspended solids and prevents system blockages. The sewage pump was supplied with a T-T Control system for a complete solids pumping solution.
